Blizzard Publishing : le Label d'édition de Blizzard Entertainment permettra la réédition de nombreuses oeuvres

Avis aux passionnés des univers Blizzard. La réédition d’un certain nombre d’œuvres va voir le jour grâce à la création, par Blizzard, de son Label « Blizzard Publishing ». Cette nouvelle activité leur permettra de reprendre d’anciens romans et autres œuvres et d’en proposer une réédition afin de continuer à faire vivre le Lore de ses diverses licences. Ainsi on retrouvera un grand nombre de formats, allant du papier (mangas et romans) en passant par l’audio.

En mettant un pied (et même deux) dans le domaine de l’édition, Blizzard assurera à ses fans une continuité dans les œuvres proposées. Pour le moment, seul Warcraft bénéficiera de rééditions, mais il est évident, et confirmé d’ailleurs que Blizzard enrichisse vite son catalogue en proposant des œuvres littéraires et numériques pour la totalité de ses licences. Et il n’est pas insensé d’imaginer qu’Overwatch, l’actuel succès de Blizzard, soit au cœur de ce chantier avec des créations inédites, et pourquoi pas un approfondissement de son univers au travers de mangas, BD et romans.

 

Les romans réédités

En France, les premiers tomes de l’univers de Warcraft étaient édités par les éditions Fleuve Noire, aujourd’hui il est très difficile de les trouver, Blizzard va donc remédier à cela, pour le plus grand bonheur des fans !

Les mangas réédités

À moins d’aller les acheter sur Amazon, avec des frais de port incalculables, il est difficile de se les procurer également, ces mangas seront donc réédités par Blizzard Publishing.

Et enfin, le livre de coloriage ! Dit comme cela, ça fait un peu enfantin, mais ce Coloring Book, est un bijou qui vous permettra de vous immerger dans l’univers de Blizzard et vous fera vous sentir pareil à un illustrateur. Un beau cadeau à offrir ou s’offrir !

 

 

Réédition de Artbook

En parallèle, Blizzard annonce aussi la réédition de Artbook de divers univers, et devrait commencer par Art of Hearthstone et Cinematic Art of StarCraft. Autant dire qu'il y en aura pour tous les goûts.

IRVINE, Calif.—December 8, 2016—Blizzard Entertainment today announced the creation of a book-publishing label, Blizzard Publishing, dedicated to developing and releasing new Blizzard publications and reissuing out-of-print titles in the company’s Warcraft®, StarCraft®, and Diablo® settings, directly and through ongoing global partnerships. Each of Blizzard’s game universes has been inhabited by millions of players worldwide, and Blizzard Publishing will help maintain the lore and legacy of the company’s earliest novels and manga while also providing a variety of new ways for people to engage with Blizzard’s rich worlds and characters. Several of Blizzard Publishing’s upcoming releases will be available in multiple formats, such as print, audiobook, and e-book.The first books published under the Blizzard Publishing label include two sets of previously released novels and manga from award-winning and New York Times best-selling authors.
